Core Club, New York City – March 26, 2025
Tech.Emotion took its first steps into the U.S. market with an exclusive event at the Core Club in New York City. It was a pleasant yet strategically significant evening that highlighted prospects for future expansion overseas, with the goal of bringing the philosophy and values of Made in Italy to the heart of global technology, business, and finance.
The event provided a crucial opportunity to explore concrete possibilities and open a dialogue with the American market. While Tech.Emotion’s guiding principles and ambitions were presented, the real breakthrough is still ahead. The ambitious goal remains: to build solid and lasting bridges between Europe and the United States, opening up new networking opportunities that can merge creativity, innovation, and culture on an international scale.
“We need to build as many bridges as possible between Europe and the United States,” explained Mattia Mor, Founder & CEO of Emotion Network, emphasizing the intention to bring the company’s distinctive approach overseas—an approach rooted in the integration of technology, creativity, and humanistic culture.
“We are in the country of technology, business, finance, and so much more. Our aim is to bring this Italian essence here, with a humanistic approach, to try to bridge the two sides of the Atlantic. Five years ago, when we founded Emotion Network, we set a clear goal: to unlock human potential through authentic connections and stories capable of generating real value. We believe in the power of storytelling to create a positive and lasting impact on society.”
By expanding the project overseas, Tech.Emotion seeks to create an open and accessible space where technology and innovation are not ends in themselves, but tools serving genuine dialogue. A dialogue that connects humanity, creativity, emotions, and culture.
A Bridge Between Two Worlds
Angelo Moratti, Founder, Chairman, and Anchor Investor of Milano Investment Partners Sgr, opened the evening by emphasizing how a bridge “unites, creates bonds, and builds credibility and trust.” He highlighted that Tech.Emotion’s core mission is to establish meaningful connections between Europe and the United States.
This sentiment was echoed by Massimo Redaelli, Co-founder of Emotion Network, who stressed the shared ambition to “grow this community, go further, and bring more humanity to the table.” He emphasized that the project is not only about technological innovation but also about strengthening human connections—a crucial aspect of creating something truly impactful.
A Humanistic Philosophy in the Service of Technology
The importance of a human-centered approach to technology was also highlighted by KR Sridhar, Founder, President & CEO of Bloom Energy. According to Sridhar, technology is merely “a tool” whose impact is determined entirely by the person using it.
“A sharp knife in the hands of a chef will prepare great food for you. A sharp knife in the hands of someone with bad intentions is not good. It has nothing to do with the knife. It has to do with the person holding it.”
His words call for responsibility and awareness as essential tools to ensure that innovation serves humanity.
Fabrizio Rindi, Strategic Advisor & Partner at Nextam Partners spa, emphasized the role of the Tech Emotion Club as a platform for open, barrier-free encounters—one designed to dismantle the very boundaries the modern world seems to be making increasingly rigid. This mission aligns with the initiative’s broader ambition: to create a space where dialogue between Europe and the United States can flow freely.
A New Chapter, A Future of Connections
The evening was further enriched by remarks from Caryl Stern, Chief Impact Officer of LionTree and member of the Emotion Network advisory board, and David Wu, CEO of Tau Cambridge Ltd. Both highlighted the significance and exclusivity of this inaugural gathering.
Caryl Stern, in particular, described the event as a pivotal moment destined to leave a lasting impact:
“Today we mark this day as the day Tech.Emotion came to the United States. And I look forward to being a part of it. I believe that in the years to come we will remember this evening, and I hope all of you will be a part of it.”
Tech.Emotion has embarked on an ambitious journey to bring Italian excellence to the vibrant American ecosystem, renowned worldwide for its innovation and capacity to generate value. Each connection established, each bridge built, is not merely a step forward—it is a fundamental piece of a larger vision where the ocean is no longer a barrier, but an opportunity. An opportunity to share, enhance, and amplify the activities, productions, and philosophy that drive our work.
